Wonderland was a first-of-its kind destination we built in Mesa, AZ for youth & their families to come and learn how to grow organic food, get into nature, develop leadership & life skills, engage in imaginative play & reconnect to each other!

We Made a Plan

  • Multiple donations from community members from $5 to $100

  • 31,000 volunteer hours

We Got to Work

We Created Impact

  • Transformed 1 acre from being full of weeds, trash and old cars to being a paradise

  • Planted 37 fruit trees

  • Built over 1000 square feet of garden beds

  • Grew in 3 aeroponic towers

  • Launched a CSA

  • Became a fellow with the Knowledge Exchange for Resilience program through Arizona State University and completed research

  • Offered programs, events & experiences with attendance of over 2,000 kids and their families served

  • Intern Program Created

  • Over 40 events hosted

  • Leadership skills, life skills, cooking skills, gardening skills and imaginative play offered

What's Next

Developing the first Wonderland was an extraordinary experience. The plants and land are thriving today!

 

We are on the lookout for our next plot of land in Northwest Washington to develop out our next destination.
