Our Mission
To free minds and provide extraordinary opportunities for our brilliant youth to live through the lens of their potential. We're a community dedicated to bringing wild joy back to parenting and setting childhood free through reconnecting kids & parents to their inner worlds, each other and nature.
We offer programs, experiences and projects that help kids and their families reconnect to their inner world, each other and nature. Our first two projects “Destination Wonderland” and “Grow Organic Kids” were a huge success, impacting over 6000 youth.
What Becoming Part of the Brilliant Planet Fam Means
Brilliant Planet exists to remind us that the answers aren’t “out there” — they’re within us and our children. To Raise Superhumans is to give space for potential to unfold — to challenge limits, question narratives, and live with more connection, health, and joy.
Here, we explore what it means to thrive: organic gardening and natural rhythms, navigating hard conversations with kids, moving our bodies, grounding in nature, stressing less, connecting more, and learning real-life and leadership skills that raise strong, conscious humans.
This is more than parenting. It’s a movement.
It’s about raising a generation that’s awake, resilient, and free — and remembering that our own inner superhuman is part of the story too.
Welcome to the Fam. Let’s grow brilliance, together.

ABOUT BRILLIANT PLANET
Meet Our Founder,
Terra Rose Sorrell
First introduced to Unschooling in 2005 while doing play therapy with the most amazing boy with Autism, Terra immediately felt connected to this natural experience of “education” and supporting youth in living life through the lens of their potential.
With this spark in her heart, Terra built three youth-centered organizations (Basketball Beyond the Barrio, Grow Organic Kids and Brilliant Planet) that specialized in life skills, teaching children how to grow their own organic food, use imaginative nature play to deepen their awareness of themselves and their surroundings and utilize child-guided leadership and community building as centerpieces to their learning and growth.
Additionally, Terra has worked in her own private coaching practice for 17 years with women, men, and their children from all over the world, with different cultural and religious backgrounds. She has coached parents on how to deeply connect and communicate with their children, addressed nutritional challenges, supported parents in talking about challenging topics how to implement screen-free, imaginative play, nature time, recipe creating and how to let your child eat intuitively and self-led outdoor adventures that activate their minds, bodies and joy.
She graduated with a BS from Arizona State University, has several holistic nutrition certifications and is working on additional neurobiology and natural child learning certifications.
